Sam and Joe’s Pizza & Subs: The Perfect Blend of Pizza, Subs, and Salad in Manassas

My husband and I sat at the bar for lunch. Again, we got the last two seats! It has about 16 barstools and very cozy. The bartender was very kind and efficient and made me an awesome espresso martini. Michael had the Maine Lunch on tap. His fried haddock sandwich was tasty but the actual piece of fish should have been larger. He got the tail which was flat and small. The French fries and onion rings it came with were awesome. I had the muscles appetizer for my entree which was delicious and plentiful. The broth they came in was excellent. We saw there cheese pizza come out and it looked very good. Supposedly that's what they are known for! We will be back! :)

Stopped here on a whim with the kids the other night. This restaurant is so clean, really nice/ attentive staff, food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back (looks like there is a great deck with water views in the nicer weather as well!).

Awesome Food, drinks & Service! Eggplant Caprese Stack was freaking awesome! Prime rib was cooked perfect. Pizza was great! Will be back!

Food was great. Pizza was a standard bar size, hot and tasty. Lots of other Italian style foods looked yummy. One bad thing is bar area is on the small side and it gets really crowded on a Saturday afternoon around 5 530. People crowding around so that they can get your seats, made us very uncomfortable and felt confined, so we boxed up meals and left.

Love this place, informal but nice, pricing is decent, cocktails are good. Bar area is really social and full of townies in the good way.

We got there as soon as it opened since we were heading out for a long drive back home. Service was wonderful as they had no problem making a dish that was on their dinner menu I saw online. Food was amazing!

Really good pizza. The only gripe is that if you are seated at a table in the bar area you are so close to the people on the other side of the restaurant area it's like you are dining together. They should put a divider up. Lobster roll special $25 Spinach, broccoli black olive pizza $20

I had the most fabulous lunch here today! The pleasant bartender and staff and the freshness of the food ! The food temperatures right down to the soda was right on excellent! The Pizza super thin crust and homemade dough cooked perfect incredible blend of cheese and cooked perfectly there are chefs working hard in this kitchen ! Thank you !
